Where to Get Help

Medical Emergencies

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, dial 911 for immediate assistance.

Single County Authorities (SCA’S)

There are a wide variety of substance and alcohol abuse services available to children and adults in Pennsylvania. Community substance abuse programs are administered through county program offices called Single County Authorities (SCAs). The county SCA determines a person’s eligibility for service funding, assesses the need for treatment or other services, and makes referrals to appropriate programs to match treatment and/or service needs.

Please select your county from the below list to be directed to your counties SCA website.

United Way’s 211 Program

If you would like to talk to someone right away about your needs, please call 211 or 888-553-5778 or email [email protected] for access to help with health, housing, and human services, sponsored by the United Way.

The Southwestern PA 211 Website is available at: www.pa211sw.org

You can use this website to search for organizations in your area that can provide help by using the search function at the top right of their website.
