School District Administrators Learn

"How to Use" Alliance Internet-Based Networking Tools

  

Allegheny and Beaver County school adminstrators attended an evening training program in February to learn how to utilize the Alliance web site tools.   The training program was sponsored by Pennsylvania Attorney General Tom Corbett.  Attendees also learned about community drug prevention program services sponsored by Allegheny County District Attorney Stephen A. Zappala.

ALLIANCE RELEASES

5TH GRADE TEACHER

PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION "ON-LINE" PROGRAM

The Alliance has produced an on-demand teacher education program. This program is available to member schools and sponsors.  Additional information is available to each school's Alliance contact person by downloading "Multi Media Instructions" from the Alliance School Resources database. 

"The 3R's in Prevention Education"

This program was produced in cooperation with the Pine-Richland School District.  It is intended for fifth grade teachers.  The program will take approximately 45 minutes to complete.   


 ALLIANCE STARTS PRODUCTION OF  

NEW VIDEO PROGRAM

"WHAT HELP LOOKS LIKE"

This new video program is being produced in cooperation with Michael Bartley Productions and will begin filiming in late March. 


"BIG BEN" WILL BE THERE!

 

Ben Roethlisberger will be attending the 7th Grade Poster Contest Luncheon on June 7, 2008.  Poster winner finalists will be invited.  Pictures with Big Ben too!
