Our Mission Statement

The Alliance is dedicated to stopping drug use among our youth by: linking various groups of people in partnerships, creating self-reliance rather than dependency, Providing support to youth drug victims and their families; and raising public awareness about the consequences of drug use.

The Alliance Primary Goals

1. Reduce the number of overdose and related deaths of persons under the age of 25. The Alliance monitors Allegheny County data and trends.
2. Increase community networking. All persons are asked to subscribe to the Alliance newsletter, i.e., become electronically connected to the cause. Internet statistics are monitored.
